CyberPatriot
Unit Troy's Information Security Team (InSecT) represents Troy in various competitions, including CyberPatriot. These competitions involve securing computers, solving forensics and cryptography challenges, and applying hacking techniques. InSecT is a great opportunity for cadets to learn about cybersecurity and compete at a high level.

Troy’s CyberPatriot program is an elite cybersecurity powerhouse operating within its Navy JROTC unit under the Information Security Team. In the Air & Space Forces Association competition, cadets are tasked with securing virtual operating systems, resolving network vulnerabilities, and mastering Cisco networking technologies. Backed by Troy's rigorous cyber defense curriculum, the program consistently fields the largest number of competitors in the nation and has secured five national championships.
