The NJROTC program functions as an official Troy Tech pathway under the specialty of Governmental Leadership, satisfying the Physical Education (PE) credit requirement for the first two years and counting as Honors elective credit for the junior and senior years. Operating as a regiment with over 400 cadets, the program serves as a primary pathway for academic, physical, and leadership excellence.
What is NJROTC?
Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) is a federally-sponsored high school program that educates and trains students to develop a leadership mentality, attention to detail, and problem-solving skill set. This program can be found in hundreds of high schools throughout the United States. Troy's NJROTC program helps benefit the school, the community, and most importantly, the cadets.
